The British Liver Trust seeks to appoint an exceptional candidate to the position of Chief Executive.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead the UK’s leading adult liver health charity through the next phase of its development.
If you are adaptable, creative, a strategic thinker, business minded, skilled at prioritising with a passion for improving people’s health and with the wider skills to lead an organisation we would like to hear from you.
The British Liver Trust is the largest charity in the UK concentrating on adult liver health through / providing increased awareness and prevention,  / promoting earlier detection, / supporting and advocating for those with and affected by liver disease and  / encouraging relevant research.
Your outstanding leadership skills will be engaged in developing and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders including internally: our staff team, volunteers and our board of trustees and externally: patients & carers, other healthcare charities, healthcare professionals, government and statutory sector officials and the media. A track record of successful fundraising and an ability to gain increased support would be very beneficial.
It is anticipated that unless the Chief Executive lives close to Bournemouth they will be home based but frequently work at the Trust’s offices in Bournemouth and attend meetings in London and occasional meetings in Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff.
