The Children’s Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We’re there for children, every step of the way. 
This role sits within our children and families directorate, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support. Your role will be  to work as part of a specialist CSE team identifying and supporting young people involved in Child Sexual Exploitation to prevent and protect children and young people from being groomed and sexually exploited.
The role will see extensive travel across Keighley, Bradford and occasionally Leeds.
We are currently looking for a committed, self motivated and hard worker to join our dynamic, ambitious team. 
A key part of this role will be your ability to work in partnership with professionals from key service providers to ensure that young people receive sensitive and timely services in line with good practice guidance for sexually exploited children and young people and safeguarding.
Along with raise awareness and understanding of child sexual exploitation issues with groups of young people through targeted, preventative and information sessions delivered within secondary schools.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES 
In order to be successful in this role, you must have: 
An understanding of complex caseloads comprising of young people involved in or vulnerable to grooming through child sexual exploitation.
The ability to identify and make contact with sexually exploited young people through a range of outreach and referral methods, developing effective and sensitive relationships.
To work in partnership with workers from key service providers to ensure that young people receive sensitive and timely services in line with good practice guidance for sexually exploited children and young people and safeguarding.
To advocate with and on behalf of young people in decision making arenas and processes.
The successful applicant may be asked to complete a full Police vetting procedure as the role may be collocated within police premises.
