Our client delivers a wide range of innovative, mixed tenure new build development solutions as well as developing land-led opportunities for both open market and affordable housing.
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Contracts Manager to join them at our office in Welwyn Garden City.
Within this role, you will have full responsibility and accountability for the Projects under your control, including responsibility from tender to completion of the Defects Liability Period.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will deliver projects safely achieving or exceeding the budgeted profit margin and will exceed customer expectations as measured by the customer satisfaction survey.
In addition, you will be responsible for the preparation and management of the contract programme (in conjunction with the Project/Site Manager) and will provide project direction, focus and consistency across a number of projects.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager coupled with an CSCS qualification and the ability to programme.
With an understanding of construction processes, you will have a wide-ranging knowledge of construction techniques and will be familiar with working with different computer systems and software.
