The car is a superb handling, powerful machine as you'd expect of an Impreza. It isn't the turbo model but is still very quick and very enjoyable to drive.

The boot is equipped with a genuine Subaru, heavy duty waterproof liner.

Only selling as I now have a dog and need a hatchback rather than a saloon car.

At last service I did not get the timing belt changed as I was resolved to sell the car. This should certainly be done within the next 4000 miles and will cost between £400 to £500

The tyres will also need to be replaced before 70,000 miles in my opinion.

The cable on the mechanism which opens the boot from within the car has come undone. The boot can now only be opened with the key unless the cable is reconnected.

There are two keys but only one has working electronics. This means that effectively there is only one key which operates the car as the electronics are required to override the immobilizer and alarm. A fob is available from any Subaru dealer which would attach to the second key and make it an active key. This costs around £90.

There are some small bits of cosmetic damage to the paintwork as shown in the pictures.

The car has been cared for since 2008 by a highly trusted mechanic, based in Hardgate, whose details I can give you if you wish to continue to use him to maintain the car. I do not have the paperwork for the service history of the vehicle.

The car is not currently taxed or insured.

I am asking £3200 but am open to reasonable offers
