About the role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Nurse to join our new luxury retirement village in Aston on Trent and provide expert care to our elderly & frail residents in our superb 61-bed nursing care home. As a Senior Nurse you'll not only be able to use your skills to deliver the highest quality of care in a fantastic working environment with a real family feel- we'll support your continuing professional development by providing ongoing access to training and helping you gain further qualifications. Opening in autumn 2017, this state-of-the-art retirement village set in beautifully landscaped grounds provides all the benefits of a socially vibrant community, including: a wellness spa with pool, beauty salon, terrace cafe, pristine croquet lawn and elegant restaurant and bar. Our accommodation ranges from luxury independent apartments to an on-site nursing care home providing exceptional 24-hour care in 60 deluxe en-suite bedrooms.

Who we're looking for

An experienced RGN with experience of frail elderly care, and ideally with nursing care home experience

Experience of supervising and managing a team of care assistants

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work well within a team

Also able to work on own initiative and resolve issues with minimal supervision

Professional, neat appearance
