We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Care Assistant join our brand new luxury retirement village in Aston on Trent and provide expert care to our residents in our superb 61-bed nursing and dementia care home. As a Care Assistant you will ensure we meet the personal needs of our residents in a way that respects their dignity, promotes independence and deliver the highest quality of care in an exemplary working environment with a real family feel.

Full and part time shifts are available.

Opening in autumn 2017, this state-of-the-art retirement village set in beautifully landscaped grounds provides all the benefits of a socially vibrant community, including: a wellness spa with pool, beauty salon, terrace cafe, pristine croquet lawn and elegant restaurant and bar. Our accommodation ranges from luxury independent apartments to an on-site nursing care home providing exceptional 24-hour care in 60 deluxe en-suite bedrooms.

Who we're looking for

* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and able to work well within a team

* Able to provide care that would reasonably be given by members of the residents own family which isn't expected to include tasks that would normally be undertaken by a trained nurse

* Also able to work on own initiative and resolve issues with minimal supervision

* Ability to be flexible regarding evening and weekend work

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or previous experience required

* Professional, neat appearance and excellent communication skills
