Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at our Cowley, Oxford Site. This is a permanent role.
To provide all our customers with the highest quality of service, and the most cost effective logistics solutions available is our mission. As the leading provider of 'on site' logistics services to several blue chip automotive based companies, Rudolph and Hellmann Automotive Ltd specialise in removing inefficiency from our customers manufacturing processes.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Plan and execute all quality control audits.
* Provide non-conforming evaluation and provide corrective action.
* Ensure in house systems are updated with audit trail.
* Identify potential CIP projects under the remit of Quality.
* Manage change programs.
* Support all operational change programs.
* Provide details of findings to interested parties in order to secure approval of implementation.
* Review implementation ensuring we add value to business.
* Influence a positive attitude to change.
* Carry out daily 5 Comms to team, updating on Company performance through agreed KPI.
* Ensure all KPI's are reported on time.
* Prepare Shop Floor Management board for the area and present on an ad hoc basis.
* Conduct regular reviews with direct reports including one2ones, appraisals, T & A.
* Provide training to team in order to ensure process adherence throughout.
* Set daily weekly targets and review plan v actual.
* To positively support and initiate change to achieve the business needs.
* Assist Senior Operation Manager in the delivery of business decisions and instruction to influence immediate change in a positive manner to support the running of the business.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A recognised Quality Lead Auditor qualification and experience of audits
* A recognised Quality qualification (i.e. Quality Certificate or better still a Quality Diploma (or personally obtain whilst in the job)
* Understanding of lean processing/ Six Sigma
* Basic understanding of MS Outlook, MS Excel & MS Word; as well as capable of working with Warehouse Management System
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and complete tasks on time within a fast paced automotive environment
* Must possess logical reasoning.
* Broad operations skills gained in a warehouse/distribution environment within the automotive industry.

* People management experience with the ability to coach, mentor and promote your team
* Possess the ability to develop, lead and motivate a team behind a single common agenda
* Highly energetic with the ability to work under pressure
* Possess a strong work ethic with a 'can-do' attitude.
