We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented, motivated and experienced trainer to join our team at our brand new luxury retirement village in Witney, Oxfordshire. The trainer will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering training to our staff using a range of methods to motivate and meet the needs of different learning styles. The trainer will also organize and deliver all mandatory and legislative training, including: moving and handling, SOVA, fire safety, customer services, infection control and others as appropriate, ensuring it meets the needs of the Care Certificate Framework.

Who we're looking for
You will ideally need a PTLLS qualification or equivalent, although relevant industry experience and a passion for delivering training will be considered for the right candidate
You'll support staff to access training delivered outside of the village and plan the mandatory annual training for all staff
You'll ensure staff are inducted using the Richmond standards and Skills for Care standards
You'll monitor and identify training needs from staff appraisals and development plans, and monitor the effectiveness of training through feedback from learners.
