Our client is looking for mechanical & electrical maintenance engineers to work in the Wednesfield area. We are looking for effective engineers with demonstrable experience in Service Centre or manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate

* Should have completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship and possess an accredited vocational qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) or time served.
* Be able to demonstrate experience of a relevant engineering discipline, continuous improvement processes, preventative maintenance techniques and dealing with contractors.
* Demonstrable experience of a relevant engineering discipline, knowledge of basic electrical installations and single and three-phase fault-finding and repair.
* Be capable mechanically fault finding, stripping and reassembling component parts and basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.

We require applicants to have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and be computer literate. The ability to work without close supervision, yet under pressure and to tight timescales is essential.

The successful candidates will initially be expected to work a 24/7 shift rotational pattern, attracting a 30% shift allowance premium.
