An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Operative to join Neovia Logistics based in Basingstoke. In return, we offer a competitive salary of (GBP)17K per annum.

Neovia are responsible for providing a 3PL Service to their client to include inbound and shipping operations.

The Traffic Operative will be responsible for processing all inbound and outbound customer units following quality and safety standards at all times.

Duties will include:

* Unpacking of all inbound units received from external sources

* Working in line with standard procedures to ensure 100% quality of units processed through inbound

* Working to achieve departmental and personal targets whilst maintaining quality standards

* Maintaining 5S in work area

* Packing of all outbound units

* Working in line with standard procedures to ensure 100% quality of units processed through outbound

* Reconciliation of paperwork to units for shipment

* Preventing any escapes due to poor packaging / incorrect paperwork

* Flexibility with working time - month ends, AOG's, etc. to be discussed in advance

The successful Traffic Operative will:

* Have previous experience in a similar role

* Have extensive customer service excellence

* Be safety cautious

* Have a flexible attitude to work

* Possess a professional manner, be a team player and a keen eye for detail

* Be reliable and punctual

* Be able to multi-task

* Have excellent communication skills

The core hours are based on rotating shifts: 08:30 to 16:30 / 09:00 to 17:00 / 10:00 to 18:00.
