Our Client administers the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) and provides pensions to over 1.5 million people. They have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes and provide tailored services to more than 300 Government employers. Also, through their Training and Employee Engagement Service, they offer training on a wide range of pension related topics and legislative change.

They are now looking to recruit a Scheme Compliance Administrator to join them to provide pensions administration support to customers.

The Scheme Compliance Unit (SCU) provides support to all operational and business teams to ensure activities are compliant with the scheme rules, pensions regulations and legislation.

Within the role you will maintain data, checking the integrity and processing a wide range of routine and non-routine documentation within defined procedures; resolving customer enquiries based on a working knowledge of the customer requirements.

Collating and analysing data and producing routine reports, you will draft non- standard correspondence in response to customer enquiries whilst also providing technical guidance to other team members, giving on-the-job coaching where needed.

They are looking for people who have previous experience within a financial and pensions environment. With experience of dealing with external clients, and of working to SLAs, you will have an awareness of scheme rules, industry regulations and current pensions legislation.

You must have good written and communication skills and be able to quickly develop strong working relationships. Capable of working within laid down processes and procedures, you will have good IT skills (including Microsoft Office packages) and a basic financial awareness.
