Are you an Estimator who has experience working within the Architectural Metalwork & Steel Fabrication sectors? Are you looking for your next career move and wanting to join a company who are renowned for looking after and investing in their employees?

We are in the market for experienced Estimators for an opportunity in the West Yorkshire region to join a company who specialise in architectural metalwork, secondary steelwork, canopies, staircases and balustrade etc.

JOB ROLE:

- Assistance with the day to day production of quotes & enquiries for small to medium sized fabrication work.
- Preparation of quotations/tenders ensuring prompt turnaround of all enquiries and that tender deadlines are met.
- Producing quotations from site surveys, drawings and / or bill of quantities / specifications encompassing all items relevant to a tender.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries, written correspondence, following up on quotations and negotiating prices.
- Ensuring tenders are submitted promptly, professionally and accurately reflecting the specification.
- Maintaining and developing good working relationships at all levels with customers, suppliers and work colleagues. Having contacts within both existing customers and the wider client base to increase workloads would be an advantage.
- Having knowledge in the design and build side of the business and to be able to successfully offer advice in value engineering to secure works.
- Looking after your own jobs, ordering materials, liaising with production staff, controling cost, co-ordination & organisation of sub-contractors/suppliers.
- Comply with company Health, Safety and Quality requirements & procedures.
- Production of RAMS for your own jobs.

The successful applicant will hold the following skills:

- Must have architectural metalwork / secondary steel fabrication estimating experience.
- Must have good IT skills - MS Word and Excel.
- Must have proven record in negotiating and securing fabrication work orders.
- Being CSCS approved would be an advantage.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Be a team player, but able to operate on an individual level.
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Ability to multi task and set clear priorities.
- A good level of customer service.
- A professional attitude to work.
- Right to work unrestricted in the UK/EU.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Be able and willing to work overtime as and when required.
- Full clean driving licence essential.

PACKAGE ON OFFER:

- £22,880 per annum + Overtime (Up to £8k per year)
- 5 weeks holiday
