Customs Clearance Coordinator - £20K-£23K - Felixstowe

A Customs Clearance Coordinator is required for a leading, Global Freight Forwarder based in Felixstowe.

As a Customs Clearance Coordinator you will maintain a first class business relationship with all clients and other offices.

Customs Clearance Coordinator Role:

Collating and presenting information to your team leader
To ensure the Quality Assurance Procedures are up to date and clearly reflect current working
Producing monthly reports to the customer service team or Client where necessary
Ensuring that all relevant requirements are met and exceeded at all times
Maintain a first class business relationship with all clients and other offices
To participate in the department in the defined daily activities to ensure its goals, targets and budget are achieved or exceeded
Timely notification of customs clearance
Continuously looking at processes and problem solving where needed
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all Import and Export declarations

Customs Clearance Coordinator Requirements:

MUST have Customs Clearance experience
Import & Export knowledge essential
Excellent Customer Service skills
The ability to communicate both written & verbally at the highest level
Possess a high level of Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook etc,
Be able to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism at all times
Build and maintain relationships with clients, customers & colleagues
Knowledge of Destin8, Impatex, Traces, Peach is beneficial
