Infrastructure Engineer (Security)

£34,000 - £38,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Search Consultancy are proud to be working in partnership with a leading company in Hampshire who, after continuous growth, are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer - Security.

You are an Infrastructure Engineer who loves the job but really gets out of bed for the security aspects of the role and dreams of being more Infrastructure Security focused.

You're hungry to learn but your current company is holding you back and that training you've been promised never comes.

If this sounds like you and you want to work with some very smart, and lovely, people - please read on.

YOU will be working for a very smart manager who is an Infrastructure expert in a company that will support you with training along the way.

While you are an expert in the server and storage aspects of your role - it's your Threat Protection, Firewall, Patch Management and Processes experience that will add tremendous value.

You will ALREADY have an MCSA qualification (or maybe MCSE, CompTIA Security+, CISSP or something similar), and will want to learn more and grow your Infrastructure Security knowledge and have been preparing for GDPR.

The manager wants his employees to have access to all the training he never had in his early career and will support you throughout yours - every step of the way.

They do this by offering paid for training for business relevant qualifications and accreditation as well as the offer of working closely with Penetration Testers and Security Experts to get in the mind-set of the enemy and become an effective deterrent.

If you have worked on Palo Alto and AlienVault products and HP A & E switches you'll know what you are working with.

The team is very social, tight knit and work hard for each other and as a reward the company likes to throw a BBQ or day out to show their appreciation for their hard work.
