An exciting opportunity for a CNC Setter/Operator has arisen to join a busy team within a precision engineering company that manufactures high quality components.An exciting opportunity for a CNC Setter/Operator has arisen to join a busy team within a precision engineering company that manufactures high quality components.

As a CNC Setter/Operator your duties will include:

Using multi sliding heads / multi spindle CNC lathes
Working from engineering drawings
Working to small tolerances
Using standard measuring equipment to check own work
Some milling where required
Working to deadlines
Following all housekeeping procedures, maintaining a clean and tidy work area

Our client is ideally seeking candidates with:

A working knowledge of Fanuc/Mitsubishi controllers
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment and the health and safety issues that this environment has
The ability to work both on your own and as part of a team

Additional Information:

Permanent position
Competitive salary
Pension matched up to 3% after 3 months
40 hours working week, half day on Friday
