TUPE / Mobilisation Advisor
Location: South East England
Contract: 6 month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Weekdays 08:00 - 17:00
My client is looking for a TUPE / Mobilisation advisor to join their HR team South East England on a 6 month contract.
The main purpose of the role is to provide pragmatic HR advice, guidance and support to the regional operations management teams and manage the delivery of an effective HR service.
The Company
My client provides facilities, property and asset management for some of the biggest public and private sector businesses. They are a UK FTSE 250 business and have a reputation for being the best.
Duties include:
* Provide professional HR support and advice, including advice on absence, grievance and disciplinary, to managers, in accordance with current legislation, to minimise the risk of litigation.
* Provide support and advice to managers and work directly with Trade Unions and staff representative groups to contribute to partnership working and to optimise people related matters and the engagement of employees.
* Manage the provision of both mandatory training and learning / development activities.
* Champion the talent pipeline and succession planning and encouraging a climate of employee development and satisfaction to engage employees.
* Lead, motivate, coach the management teams to ensure company values and vision, policies and procedures and all contractual standards and best practice are met at all times.
* Work with the senior management team to drive forward the employee engagement process.
* Actively support the region to drive down prolonged case duration, suspension and unnecessary redundancy costs.
* Seek out and promote HR initiatives and measures which demonstrate added value to the business.
* Manage the interface with the Occupational Health provider ensuring adherence to legislation, company policies and best practice.
* Manage the provision of effective data collection on staff ensuring that relevant information is gathered, collated, disseminated and, when necessary, acted upon.
* Support the Senior HR team and advice on organisational design and cultural change, giving thought to the current and future requirements of the business.
* Maintains HR information within the appropriate reports and systems.
* Attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities.
* Contributes ideas and thoughts with the Head of HR and Lead HR BP on ways to innovate and improve the service delivery of the HR function.
What you'll need:
* Experience in a HR role
* Confident handling a variety of ER cases
* Be proactive and used to building strong, effective working relationships
* Have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop
* Full driving licence
* Willingness to travel around the South East of England
It is ideal for this role if you are fully/part CIPD qualified, however this isn't essential.
