The successful candidate will be expected to design, develop and test software in a variety of applications and platforms. You would be expected to take part in reviews and contribute or suggest optimisations, or structure strategies, as and when required.

Part of this role would be to contribute to system architecture design as necessary and to contribute to technical documentation and reports.

Software Engineer | Embedded C | Engineering | Software Development

Essential Requirements:

* To hold a degree in an Engineering related subject with a 2.1 (or higher), or commensurate experience.
* To be able to read/derive application requirements from Electronic schematics.
* To have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
* To have experience with Embedded C.
* Experience in writing drivers for microcontrollers e.g. ADC, timers, serial communication, EEPROM.
* Experience in Serial/ Network Communications.
* Implementing state machines, lookup tables, scheduling, module interfaces.
* Experience with development and risk assessment process.
* To be able to work independently and as part of a team.
* To have a professional and approachable manner.
* To be positive, confident and enthusiastic attitude at all times.

Desirable Requirements:

* To have experience in Windows C#/C++, JavaScript, Linux.
* To be awareness of communications/satellite industry/technologies.
