THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a leading business based in Doncaster who specialise in providing qualifications and training material. Highfield are based in Doncaster and are recruiting for a Quality & Assessment Assistant to ensure the timely marking of examinations and assessments and issuing of results and certificates to Centres.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Quality & Assessment Supervisors and Managers you will be required to:

* Ensure that all areas of responsibility are compliant with regulatory requirements. If areas of non-compliance are found, reporting these immediately in line with policy/procedure and develop/undertake actions to rectify.

* Work with all members within HABC to ensure all regulatory requirements are fulfilled and HABC is recognised as a best practice Awarding Organisation by Centres and regulators alike.

* Receive returned examination papers and checking for signs of malpractice, checking information on the declaration and candidate list, checking examination feedback forms, retaining reasonable adjustment and special consideration forms and forwarding to the relevant department.

* Process and check assessments and awards received electronically.

* Mark examinations and assessments.

* Populate HABC bespoke database with Centre and learner information.

* Electronic issue of learner results.

* Print learner certificates.

* Ensure items for outbound post are accurate.

* Complete scanning of learner data to ensure compliance with SIA.

* Print off in-house examination papers (where appropriate).

* Provide workload reports where appropriate.

Post Holder's Obligations:

* To carry out their duties having full regard for "The HABC Way of Working" (please see below).

* To carry out their duties in accordance with the HABC equal opportunities policy and in compliance with the Health & Safety at work etc. Act 1974 and any subsequent and relevant health & Safety legislation.

* The timely and professional dealing with general enquiries in writing, by email or over the telephone including the taking of messages and the accurate recording and, if necessary, the dissemination of all relevant information.

* To competently use all office equipment and relevant software programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HABC web database.

* These duties are neither exclusive nor exhaustive and the post holder may be required to undertake other reasonable duties and responsibilities without changing the general character of the post.

THE PERSON:

All applicants must have experience working within an office environment and be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, have a good educational background and ideally be available immediately.

THE BENEFITS:

Salary is national minimum wage, 40 hours p/w Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm, pension
