About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the work of the class teachers within KS2 and you will be developing teaching skills through the mentoring of a Class Teacher. Your role will include:

Lead your own small groups of children and mentor others 1:1 outside of class
In this post you will be working on lesson plans with the class teacher designed to stimulate organic discussion and intellectual curiosity.
You will have the responsibility of lending support to the various after school clubs provided by the school in both sporting and academic areas.
You will have the responsibility of beginning your career in a school that often offers its support staff a place on the highly desirable School Direct scheme
