Year 6 Teacher Specification

This vacancy is designed for a passionate Year 6 Teacher who has some previous experience in an inner city school and worked in an environment with a high number of EAL pupils previously. The ideal candidate will have follow the progressive ethos of the school whilst also maintaining a positive approach in all they do. You should have the capability to help drive the performance of the school and put yourself forward for opportunities immediately. As a Year 6 Teacher you must have superb comprehension of the curriculum and a resilient and authoritative character. Due to this being such a key year for students, it is vital you have good knowledge of the curriculum and work well under pressure.

About the Year 6 Teacher Role

This Year 6 Teacher position involves leading a 30-strong class of vibrant Year 6 students and you will be furthering your skills and knowledge through CPD. You will be welcomed into the department by the Head of Department, a highly skilled practitioner who enjoys a cohesive style of management. You will have the responsibility of joining a department known throughout the school for its caring and supportive academic approach. Your responsibilities will include honing your preparation and classroom practice alongside a helpful, supportive Senior teacher.
