NQT English Teacher Specification

To be considered for this role you must be a passionate and enthusiastic NQT English Teacher who has worked in an inner city school previously and a sincere belief in the importance of inclusive teaching. We want to see teachers with the drive to balance fun with hard work in their lessons and inspire their students to want to do well while raising attainment. The school needs a NQT English Teacher who has a desire to successfully execute existing teaching fundamentals whilst showing a hunger to explore new techniques and practices. You will have the drive to deliver informative and well researched lessons and be inventive in your approach.

About the NQT English Teacher Role

You will be important part of the creative English department. The school would like you to teach classes up to Key Stage 4, which means you should be confident in preparing pupils for their GCSE's, the school encourage development and when you feel ready there may be the option to teach at A-level. All staff are well supported at the school and a wide range of professional development opportunities exist for ambitious practitioners. Day-to-day, you will be flourishing under the mentor-ship of a designated Headteacher who will be taking an active role in your development at every stage. As an NQT English Teacher you will be a part of a fun and lively department that achieves excellent results and is often favoured by the pupils. Your duties will include sustaining the excellent academic momentum and taking instruction from a talented Head teacher.
