Responsibilities include:

* Component, software and integration testing of software components or projects
* Development of software and integration test concepts
* Maintain software test environment like QAC, QACPP and Cantata
* Development of test cases and documentation in PTC integrity
* Documentation of test and verifications results in PTC integrity or review protocols
* Planning and entertaining software reviews and walk through workshops
* Support of Embedding Engineers in development and software architects/Functional Safety engineer in designing phases
* Evaluate software quality by applying metrics
* Development and maintain SIL environments

Requirements

* Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or equivalent technical fielld

* Minimum 5 year experience in Software testing, preferably in automotive industry
* Familiar with

* Embedding programming languages (C, C++)

* Development and Scripting languages (Python, Matlab)
* Requirement management tools (e.g. DOORS, PTC Integrity)
* Automotive specific tools (CANoe, CANape)
* Software test tools (e.g. QAC, QACPP or Cantata)
* Test automation
* revision and change control
* automotive development process

* Advanced knowledge functional safety designs (ISO 26262 Section 6)
* Advanced knowledge in SIL procedures and equipment
* Working knowledge of structured problem solving (e.g. 8D)

Nice to haves

* Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
* Familiar with functional safety designs (ISO 26262 Section 6)
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
* Able to work in distributed global team environment
* Willing to learn and work with new technologies and why they are needed
* Ability to travel to both domestic and international locations (engineering and manufacturing sites, suppliers, and customers)

* Background in Automotive radar systems working at 77 GHz
* Driver license class B
