MRP Stock Controller £30-35k pro rata
My client is a food / drink manufacturing company based in a brand new manufacturing site in Somerset. They are looking to recruit a MRP stock controller to join them on an initial 6 month contact. The successful MRP stock controller will be reporting into the Operations manager and will also have a dotted line into the supply chain manager. Playing an important role in the business you will own the stock process from Goods in to consumption of Finished goods and enjoy being very hands on.
Main duties of the MRP Controller will include

- Close liaison with the Supply Chain teams
- Continuous inventory / stock checking daily and weekly intervals
- Looking after Fresh product
- Driving stock accuracy and process adherence
- Improving process through both physical and system driven activity
- Creating training materials for Operatives
- Roll out delivery of training to Operatives
- Experience driving yield improvement programs and waste control
- Maintaining and updating of the MRP stock management system

Key skills - The successful candidate MUST
-Have MRP experience for stock management
-Have worked in a FMCG environment, ideally from a food, drink, pharma manufacturing environment
-Have excellent communication skills, effectively working within different operational teams on various shifts
-Be happy to drive continuous improvements
-Enjoy being hands on
My client offers excellent working conditions and very good benefits including a salary of £30-35k Pro rata. This role is commutable from Frome, Shepton Mallet, Taunton, Yeovil, Wiltshire, Bath, Somerset.

This role may suit a warehouse supervisor or warehouse manager or manufacturing controller
