Kilkern are recruiting for a General Foreman, for a permanent position, to be based in London.
The purpose of the General Foreman role is to ensure the delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and snag free.

Within this role you will need to:
-Operate and promote safe working practices
-All works carried out in line with approved methods of statements
-That all site personnel have job relevant training
-Lead by example
-Implement company requirements and legal regulations paying specific attention to HSE.
-Planning works, debriefings, supporting RAMS

The successful candidate must have the below qualifications and experience:
-Excellent people skills with proven leadership qualities coupled with the ability to motivate others.
-Good communication, organisational, planning and time management skills
-Extensive experience in the construction industry specifically within general civils environment.
-Previous experience if infrastructure, drainage, public realm, highways and structures essential.
-Proven people management skills including the management of sub-contractors.
-A practical and hands on approach.
-CSCS Supervisor Card/SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications
-CPCS appointed person for lifting operations preferred, lift supervisor is essential.
-First aid qualification
-NRSWA Supervisor
-Confined Space City and Guilds medium risk, CP1
