JOB - Mechanical Technician

LOCATION - Nr Oxford

DURATION - 3 Months

RATE - £15-£16p/h

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Technician on an initial 3-month contract basis, with an extremely well established Science facility based Nr Oxford.

My client specialises in research and development across a range of scientific and industrial applications.

The Mechanical Technician is required to support the technician and scientist during install and commissioning phase, working on ultra-high vacuums, diagnostics, chambers and vacuum equipment.

The Mechanical Technician is required to have the following;

* Strong Mechanical Background
* 2 years+ experience in a Technician role
* The ability to understand and interpret Mechanical drawings
* The ability to carry out light mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
* Proven experience in either cryogenics, high temperatures, high pressures, magnetic fields specialist gases or cooling water.
* Be able to use electronics measurement instruments
