A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Assistant to join an award-winning and state of the art nursery. Based in the beautiful countryside of Oakington, Cambridge, the successful Nursery Assistant will earn a salary of £7.70 - £8.15 per hour and receive a range of additional bonuses. Both part-time (25 hours per week) and full-time roles are available. Please note that no formal qualifications are required to be considered for this role of Nursery Assistant.

The nursery is situated on a stunning 4.5 acre plot of land and was purpose built. They have won multiple awards and have a strong belief that children should spend as much time as they want playing outdoors. As a Nursery Assistant you will be responsible for encouraging learning and development by planning and organising fun and exciting activities for the children. In addition, the successful Nursery Assistant`s key duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Key working
- Maintaining a clean, safe and inspiring environment for the children
- Monitoring and ensuring the health and safety of all children
- Attending staff meetings and any requested training sessions
- Communicating with parents and carers

The nursery is looking for enthusiastic candidates who share their core belief that children should be allowed to play outside as much as they want whilst developing a love and respect for nature. In addition, the successful Nursery Assistant will possess the following key skills and qualities:

- Sound knowledge of EYFS
- Ability to communicate well with children
- Be motivated to progress within the organisation
- Have a fun and enthusiastic attitude
