CY Partners are looking to recruit a Senior Analytical Chemist on behalf of a Global Pharmaceutical organisation at their state of the art facility in County Durham. This role is full time and available on a 1 year contract.

The role requires an experienced candidate who is confident and capable of working on projects by themselves.

Requirements

A BSc or Masters in Chemistry, Analytical Science, Biochemistry or related field
Working experience of chromatographic techniques, including High Performance Liquid
Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC), in a GMP environment
Good communication skills and knowledge of analytical chemistry
Ability to work independently with a proactive approach towards problem solving
Method Development/Validation/Troubleshooting of GC and HPLC

Responsibilities

Perform extractables analysis on a range of packaging components to confirm they meet product specifications by HPLC or GC
Communicate progress against the project plan to the project lead
Provide support to GMS Extractables and Leachables projects
Attend virtual team meetings and provide updates to the wider matrix team
Engage with the wider AS&T laboratory teams to resolve analytical investigations

Due to the location of the site, access to personal transport is highly recommended
