Full time lead teacher of English - Independent school

Our client, an independent school in Hammersmith and Fulham is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced teacher of English to lead their thriving department.

Set on a new campus, this school, has expanded from teaching prep students to now also teach senior school students. This is a chance to join a school at its exciting new expansion phase. All pupils will be provided the opportunity to take part in a rich and broad curriculum which includes first rate facilities for an array of extracurricular activities.

The school are now looking to recruit a Leader of English on a full time permeant contract starting in September 2018. The successful candidate will need a strong degree in a relevant field, and should have experience working Art curriculums. They also need to be enthusiastic about the subjects and be willing to be part of the wider school ethos. Applications are invited from well qualified and experienced teachers with proven track records for excellence in teaching practice. Experience within the independent sector is desired but not essential.

This role would suit either a teacher looking to step up to being head of department or an existing head of department after a new challenge.

The salary range is on the school's own scale and dependent on skillset, qualifications and experience.
