A Senior Buyer in Health & Beauty is urgently required to join a global creative promotional merchandiser based in Waterloo. We are looking for a min of 5 years buying experience. The Buyer is a permanent role and it pays up to £45k depending on experience.

We are looking for someone who understands trends, has a background in product development, preferably bags / handbags & gift packaging. They need to have worked with suppliers directly in the Far East, they must be able to source new factories in the Far East.

Buyer responsibilities:

- Working with the in-house design and sales teams on product ideas and concepts

- Assisting with idea generation and preparation of client presentations

- Managing a core supplier base whilst bringing on new supply routes

- Negotiating costings and ensuring projects are delivered within budget

- Writing detailed product specifications and purchase orders

- Liaising with all departments to ensure projects are delivered to schedule

- Defining quality requirements and ensuring testing is done accordingly

Price / Salary: £42000 - £45000/annum
