Protocol Education is currently looking to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants who hold Team Teach training.

With the beginning of new academic year well under way now, the primary schools across the UK are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support their respective SEND Departments and work with children who require additional support. The suitable candidates will be specifically asked to assist children with EBD, ADHD and SEMH. You will need to set clear boundaries, minimise the disruption in the classroom, help the child feel safe and enjoy learning experience in the classroom.

Team Teach is essential as the suitable candidates should ideally have emotional resilience and the drive to go the extra mile to ensure the child they work with acquires the skills to remain on task, be able to ask questions, stays safe during lessons and at break time. On top of it, you'll be a great team player and confidently and efficiently handle challenging behaviour in the classroom.

Essential skills and attributes:
Team Teach training
Good understanding of the British National Primary School Curriculum
Experience working with children with EBD
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional working manner
A passion for working with children
Strong literacy and numeracy skills (applicants are required to take written test at the school)
