We are seeking a Change Management Co-ordinator to work for this leading software provider.
This is a temp to perm contract so please only apply if you are seeking a perm role after 6 months.
Working at one of the leading and cutting edge technology providers you will work in a role co-ordinated change management for our enterprise customers. Your goal will be to communicate Cloud changes with customers and increase customer awareness of change and releases as well as to improve the customer Cloud experience. This person works very closely with the Customer, Customer Support and Site Engineering teams.
This ideal person will be a trouble shooter / problem solver specialising in getting things unstuck, and be willing to make real-time decisions, with limited information. You will be responsible for ensuring changes are scheduled/applied in a timely manner. Coordinating patching of customer environments, and overseeing/reporting progress. As important, this person acts as a sanity check, final approver, and a safety valve for a fast-moving Cloud platform. You will need to empowered to take risks, understanding the consequences, and instilling a sense of accountability among the team.
The role would suit someone from a technology provider who is looking to work in a hands on role managing internal and external customers alike.
Responsibilities;
- Coordinating Global Customer support and Site-reliability teams to ensure process compliance/definition and delivery.
- Constantly seeking opportunities for process improvement, documenting process changes and communicating these to the wider team.
- Frequent contact with/from Customers, Account Teams, Customer Support, Ops, Product Management, Professional Services, Customer Success Management, Sales Engineers, and Executive Management.
- Effectively dealing with High priority/urgent scheduling changes.
Skills required;
- Well organized, with a healthy sense of urgency.
- Able to set, communicate, and meet aggressive deadlines with competing, and undefined priorities.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Effective communicator with a great customer focus; willingness to communicate with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with change management/scheduling automation tools and processes would be helpful; runbooks to define repeatable processes
- Statistical analysis of change process; visually (dashboards/reports), what works vs. what does not. How do we prevent the same mistakes? Peer reviews, Change Control Boards, Defect tracking etc.
This is a temp to perm contract - please do not apply if you are looking for contract only work as there will be an expectation from the client that you will be looking to convert to a permanent role after 6months at around 45K plus benefits
Price / Salary: £275 - £300/day
