Neuro Physiotherapist

The Neuro Physiotherapist is responsible for providing a comprehensive specialist physiotherapy service to Ascot Rehabilitation for patients requiring neuro-rehabilitation

To be an active member of the multidisciplinary neurology team, providing a comprehensive physiotherapy service to patients at Ascot Rehab.

Duties and responsibilities Clinical

* Be responsible for gaining valid, informed consent for assessment, treatment interventions and sharing of information in compliance with legal and professional guidelines.

* Undertake specialised uni-professional and multi-professional assessments. To develop and JOB DESCRIPTION - PHYSIOTHERAPIST Page 2 of 6 implement treatment plans for clients referred to the neurology services. These clients will present with a variety of complex multi-pathologies within specialist areas, including neurological conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, age related disorders, learning disability and/or mental health diagnoses.
* Respond to inconsistent work patterns and to be able to manage a diary and re-prioritise as required.
* Be responsible for the supervision of Rehabilitation Assistants and Physiotherapy students.

Must be

* HCPC registered
* Eligible to work in the UK
