Working for one of the UK's leading and largest Mechanical and Electrical companies. The company employs over 2,000 multi-skilled maintenance engineers including electrical, mechanical and general maintenance staff. They cover air conditioning, electrical, BMS and the full building services package. They can offer excellent training, career progression and a stable and secure employment.

They are looking for a mobile engineer to cover various sites from Chelmsford across North London on a very prestigious contract.

Responsibilities / Duties include:

* Ensure Customer Permit to Work system is followed, and all subcontractors complete Inductions
* Identify risks and recommendations for Plant/Kit
* Ensure all Sub-Contracted Works/Additional Works are communicated to Engineering Manager for approval
* Respond to Ad Hoc requests by Customer for Services/Sites not in scope
* Ensure Allocated jobs are completed on CAFM System and report to Engineering manager
* Assist the engineering team for out of hours PPM
* Out of hours call out required on Rota basis
* Assist engineering team with updating CAFM system where necessary
* Being a Electrical biased skilled engineer with a sound knowledge of HVAC, building services (water, gas, heating and ventilation, waste), BMS monitoring systems, PPMs
* Having a flexible attitude with a can do approach and who is prepared to work outside their skill base to provide a customer based service
* Having administration skills to maintain computer based and hard copy systems for statutory inspections and tests
* Sourcing and vetting of quotations
* Being responsible for Engineering teams H&S
* Completing reactive work orders within time parameters and SLAs set by customer
* Completing ppm work orders within time parameters and SLAs set by customer
* To be a proactive team player
* To supervise specialist sub-suppliers ensuring compliance will all working practices
* Log book to be kept updated and compliance documents stored
* Liaise with the Site Management with regard to works required and priorities
* Health and Safety awareness of fellow personnel and customer representatives.
* Assist in quoting for repairs to equipment and small new installs

Qualifications

* 17th Edition IEE: Wiring regs
* Approved apprenticeship Electrical biased experience
* Good communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff
* Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation
* Have basic IT skills
* Be fully conversant in all aspects of domestic water treatment practices L8 compliance
* Knowledge of Trend systems

Price / Salary: £31000 - £33000/annum
