A Junior Graphic Designer is sought by a market leading home safety product manufacturer.

The Role:

This is a new position in a fast paced, dynamic Creative department. Reporting to the Senior Designer, the successful Junior Graphic Designer will be working within the Graphic Design team creating and modifying artworks across a broad range of collateral. Including marketing collateral such as press, brochures, POS, direct mail, packaging and promotional material, and marking, manuals and packaging around product.

The Person:

A team player and passionate person is required. The successful applicant will take instruction from the Senior Designer but may deal with senior persons around the business - you must be able to communicate effectively. The candidate must be able to deliver work under pressure and tight deadlines. You will be enthusiastic and have a hunger for work. You`ll feel pride in your role and the company you represent.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

- Minimum 6 months commercial experience in a graphic design role
- Qualified to degree level in Graphic Design or similar relevant subject
- A can-do attitude with a positive approach is a prerequisite
- Design for adverts, direct mail, brochures, packaging and point-of-sale
- Hands-on artworking collaterals and preparing files for print
- Able to use an Apple Mac
- Must be competent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Able to use Microsoft Office is beneficial
- Dealing with suppliers getting quotes, sampling and ordering collaterals
- Support the business on quick turnaround and last minute projects
- Other ad hoc tasks within the team to support the business as required

Benefits:

- Salary of £18,000 - £22,000 depending on experience
