Senior Facilities Maintenance Craftsman

8 months contract

Working hours will be 7.30 am to 6.30 pm and will follow a "3 and 2" shift pattern. This shift operates on a 4 week pattern, Monday to Sunday.
Salary will be £33,500 per annum plus a Shift Premium of £5,049

As a facilities craftsman your main responsiblity will be carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance of all utilities, building services and facilities in line with the maintenance strategy and plans.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance, completing jobs as specified in work orders and providing accurate documentation and relevant feedback.
2. Conduct daily monitoring of utilities and building services including sampling and testing.
3. Ensure all maintenance activities are consistent with Safety, GMP and other regulatory requirements.
4. Ensure that Contractors are managed in accordance with the Company procedures.
5. Provide information on the condition and status of equipment to enable monitoring of performance.
6. Support investigations as required using Root Cause Analysis and providing written feedback to inform the maintenance strategy.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement activities and give support in prioritising and quantifying the benefits of the CI activity.

Key Competencies:
* In-depth knowledge of utilities and building services and facilities.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant forms and documentation relating to maintenance activity
* A thorough knowledge of all aspects of GMP and other regulatory requirements relating to equipment, controls and environment in the manufacture and production of pharmaceutical products.
* Ability to work with people using problem solving tools and techniques to identify problems and solutions

Price / Salary: £38000 - £39000/annum
