BMC Resourcing are proud to be supporting this market leading specialist within the automation testing industry. Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking Wireperson to expand their team in the manufacture of small runs of high quality, hand built testing equipment. This is great opportunity to join a fast growing business within a truly specialised industry.

You will be required to do a high level of soldering, wiring and cable assembly with the ability to understand electrical schematic drawings and to work with minimal supervision.

The Role:
Electrical wiring and mechanical fitting
Producing PCB layouts and testing prototypes.
Assembly and re-work of SMD components including 144 pin flat pack devices.
Wiring test boxes for military applications.
Electronics assembly, test and fault finding of interface and microscope PCBs.
Wiring and test of control cabinets, 3-phase and single phase.
Assembly and test of electronic PCBS plus fault-finding to component level.
Wiring and test of PLC control boards

Skills and Knowledge:
Competent using electrical and mechanical drawings
Knowledge of engineering fault finding techniques
Familiarity with AutoCAD would be advantageous
Following Schematics or Engineering Drawings
Knowledge of Soldering, Wiring and Cable Assembly
