The Role

I am seeking band 5 Healthcare Practitioners and Nurses to join a team in a Single Point of Access service in Guildford, Surrey as a Child Health Specialist. This role is office based and full time, 37.5 hrs working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. They are offering between £24,000 to £27,000 for outstanding candidates.

You will be the initial point of contact for clinical referrals and enquiries regarding the care of children and young people. You will be required to assess, triage, advise, signpost and refer to appropriate services based on priority of need.

The Person

You must be a fully qualified Healthcare practitioner or Nurse, registered with either HCPC or NMC respectively. You will have significant experience of conducting health triage/screening/assessments and providing sound and appropriate clinical advice. You will have a good knowledge of health conditions, diagnoses and clinical risks. Experience of working in Child or Adolescents is very desirable.
