About the Role:
The Account Manager is a key role within the business and involves working closely with the UK team, and international teams, direct clients and key dealer partners, to offer a seamless TEAM approach with clearly defined roles and communication lines, giving our customers / prospective customers the best experience possible The client are looking for an experienced established Sales account manager for the London and SE market. The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of the market, proven industry experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service orientated This role also includes working closely with the UK sales and marketing team to create the right product presence and design concepts, promoting better brand awareness in the London/UK market This sales role is key to the future of the business in the UK. A team approach, clear and open communication with defined responsibility and ownership will make the overall customer experience simple and easy, making the company the first choice supplier for all their customers Some Duties
Managing a portfolio of existing dealer accounts/end user accounts (65% existing/ 35% new)
Development of existing relationships and handling of all customers' needs
Ability to sell at dealer partner level/direct account level/global account level
Development of new business using existing / potential customer networks
Develop and grow ongoing sales pipelines for the London region
A&D Focus - networking / relationship building
Problem solving /resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers' needs
Reporting on the status of accounts and sales transactions
About the Candidate:
Proven experience in sales with industry experience
Excellent Communication and negotiation skills
Good time management / focused work approach/ customer service focused
Ability to manage multiple projects and answer enquiries in a timed manner
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Business acumen with a problem solving attitude
Knowledge of CRM software
Tender responses
Knowledge and experience in local marketing and area planning
Points of Appeal:
£40,000 basic salary
