About the role of Secondary Teacher:

Simply Supply are recruiting qualified Secondary Teachers on behalf of a fantastic secondary school in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

We are looking for the following subjects:

* Teacher of English - Full time from January 2018 for two terms
* Teacher of Religious Education - Full time from January 2018 for two terms
* Teacher of Pysical Education - Part time (0.8 contract) from January 2018 for two terms

Responsibilities of the role of Secondary Teacher:

Applicants must have recent UK classroom based experience and up to date knowledge of the current curriculum across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in either English, Religious Education and/or Physical Education.

The roles would suit individuals who are looking to step away from the responsibilities of a permanent teaching role but still want to make a difference as a teacher; or those who are just looking for a fixed term contract.

Candidates will be required to work closely in partnership with Teaching Assistants and other members of the specific departments to contribute to the overall success of the pupils within the school.

Responsibilities of Secondary Teacher:

* Delivery of engaging lessons in English, PE and or RE
* Assessment of pupils
* Writing teacher hand overs
* Take direction of teaching assistants/learning support
* Classroom/Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures

Candidates must have their Qualified Teacher Status or QTLS. Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers are also very welcome.

In return the school will offer performance related pay which is relevant to your experience and qualifications.
