FIXED TERM CONTRACT 6-9 MONTHS WITH REVIEW

My Client is looking for a Senior HR Advisor to be based in York on a 6-9 month fixed term contract which will then be reviewed.

Purpose of role:
To provide a professional and effective HR generalist service to the business in conjunction with other centres of HR expertise. This service includes:

To coordinate and manage within agreed parameters on work organisation changes and other employee related issues aimed at achieving strategic business goals;
Act as Senior HR Advisor to assist in the delivery of a professional and competent HR service to the business;
Provide sound advice on all HR matters to team leaders, line managers, and employees and to deliver a professional and effective HR service to the business
Advise line managers on matters relating to discipline, grievance, performance management and absence management processes and procedures
Coach line management, particularly middle level management, in managing people issues to improve organizational capability

Knowledge & Experience:
The jobholder should preferably be educated to Degree leve3l and be CIPD qualified and should possess:
- previous experience in an HR generalist role
- a knowledge of HR needs within a Professional Services environment;
- detailed knowledge of HR processes

Price / Salary: £30000 - £35000/annum
