Our client, a Leading International supplier of Chilled Food Products is looking to appoint a Quality Systems Manager for their site based in Lincolnshire. Supporting the Technical Manager and team the successful candidate will be responsible for building on the site QMS to provide a robust and reliable platform of conformity that supports all site operations.

As a key member of the Technical Team, responsibilities for the role will include:
Supporting and utilising the Group supplier assurance and raw material risk assessment and approval systems
Reviewing, establishing and managing an internal audit schedule that delivers robust compliance with legislative and customer requirements
Reviewing and maintaining a robust system to record and close out corrective actions arising from internal and external audits
Membership of the business HACCP team offering expertise, support and guidance as required
You will co-ordinate and compile internal and external KPI data and raw material specifications and ensure that all relevant information is available for the specification technologist to approve specifications
Liaising with an offsite NPD function to understand new product concepts and gather information required for internal and customer specifications

Essential / Desirable skills include:
Experience in a similar role from within the food industry
Awareness of best practice and people management
Intermediate IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office Software, such as word and excel
