Temporary Digital Print Operator

Hours Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30

* Represent front of house for the print room.
* Dealing with customer's face to face, email, or telephone enquiries regarding Printing, Scanning, finishing.
* Plan and control the production of work by fully utilising the equipment and resources and by producing work by the most economic method, ensuring maximum profitability is achieved and customer requirements are met
* Organises a "job" by validating job specifics, time scale and cost centre, understanding the Job Request and organising supplies as required.
* Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
* Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image quality.
* Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
* Binding, laminating and quality control on all jobs.
* Deal with Value Plus as required and spot opportunity to increase revenue.
* Allocating ID cards tor TE - staff, non-Res Contractors, keeping Contractor booklets & day badges in supply.
* Meets deadlines by working at a quick & steady pace while still maintaining quality/error free work.
* Maintains optimal machine performance by correcting simple machine problems (clearing jams, refilling toner, etc )
* Presents professional appearance to clients by dressing in a professional attire according to company standards.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)

* Requires intermediate or higher computer skill level, specifically using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Requires strong direct, face-to-face customer service experience.
