Planning Director - Manchester

£80,000 - £100,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to represent one of the UK's leading Planning consultancies with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning Director to join their team in Manchester.

My client comes with a strong Planning presence in the UK, working on projects from individual householders to large scale projects for multi-national clients. They have a track record of delivering numerous major development schemes across the capital with an emphasis on Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Retail and Renewable Energy projects.

The Director role has arisen due to expansion and overall success of the organisation, in particular the planning and development function. You will need to be ambitious, motivated and keen to take on extra responsibility whilst taking on an active part on key projects. The successful Director will provide exceptional advice on a range of planning topics to a variety of clients, therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have a fantastic working knowledge of all local planning legislations and a strong background in the delivery of projects in the North West.

In return, the successful Director will receive a market leading base salary with an extensive benefits package including a bonus scheme. To apply, the successful Associate Director will hold a degree and/or masters that is recognised by the RTPI. You will already be a full RTPI member with other accreditations being beneficial. Ideally, you will have over 8 years' previous planning experience within consultancy, covering all aspects of the planning process along with experience in mentoring, supporting and developing junior members of the planning team.
