Our Client is looking for motivated individuals to help shape the future of their Yacht chartering business.
Days are varied, challenging and rewarding with a rapidly growing team of sailors and travel-enthusiasts managing a range of Luxury Yachts.
As a Parts Coordinator, you will be a keen marine enthusiast looking for a challenging role where initiative and organisational skills will be used on a daily basis. Reporting directly to the Technical Services Manager and working alongside the wider Yacht Management team, you will oversee and manage the development of our equipment and spare parts services. Working with some of the most recognised suppliers in the industry, you will offer our clients access to the best parts for their yachts, including; safety, deck & rigging, watersports, crew clothing and interior equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Building relationships and corresponding with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
Ensuring purchase orders are raised and fulfilled correctly
Inventory and stock management in warehouse
Identifying key products and negotiating trade accounts with quality marine suppliers
Working directly with MD to develop e-commerce webshop
Developing product packages for new yacht owners and charter yachts
Creating marketing materials for core products
Liaising directly with yacht crews, owners and suppliers to provide support, research and assistance with sourcing spare parts
Coordinating with transport companies and couriers to make regular shipments to yachts
General PA and administration responsibilities for technical team including; telephone answering, travel arrangements and managing maintenance calendar.
Attending trade events and representing the company at boat shows
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Excellent written and verbal communication
Well presented
Self-motivated, positive and committed attitude
Previous experience in the Yachting Industry and knowledge of yachts.
Computer Literate (mac)
Forward thinking
Good attention to detail
Very strong administrative and organisation skills
Great customer service
Xero & purchasing experience desired but not essential

Hours: Full time (9am - 5:30pm, 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day)

Salary: Circa £16,000.00
