We are currently looking for an organized, self-motivated and experienced Stock room manager for a property management company in London. You would be in charge of all stock management for the company and would be based at their warehouse near Kings Cross. This company manage 5* luxury apartments in Central London and have a high focus towards exceptional customer service.

The role is looking after the company warehouse ensuring that stock levels are controlled and maintained as well as keeping up to date with stock requirements and transfers. You will demonstrate exceptional admin skills and enjoy taking ownership of your own department!

You will also be responsible for a part time stock room assistant.

The successful candidate will be dynamic, organized and a self-starter.

This is a work alone role for most of the time so someone self-motivated is essential for this role.

You will have warehouse supervisory experience or have a background in retail stock management.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Stock Management

* Management and mentoring of stock room staff
* Maintenance of stock levels across the board ensuring stock is always available to suit requirements.
* Maintaining inventories
* Preventing excess stock and solving inconsistencies between inventory and stock records.
* Stock ordering
* Management of asset management system
* The development of new processes and ensuring existing processes are carried out at all times.
* Monitoring minimum stock levels
* Negotiation of new contracts

This is a role very much focused on the monitoring of the company stock. This is a separate department requiring a strong person to oversee and take ownership of a key area. This is a warehouse based role but some travel to their office may be required.

Requirements for this position

* Proven warehouse/stock supervisory/management experience
* A methodical and practical approach with the ability to work to deadlines
* Some people management to mentor staff
* Self-motivated with a pride of department

A bubbly personality and strong decision-making ability

Price / Salary: £27000/annum 2k bonus
