Senior Lettings Associate / Valuer,

St Albans

£20,000 basic including car allowance

Good Commission structure potential to earn £25,000 to £30,000

We are recruiting for a Senior Lettings Associate / Valuer to join our team to continue to drive this momentum forward.

The successful candidate will be proactive, accomplished at wining new business and negotiating lettings contracts with at least 3 years experience in a letting agency

With separate Administration, Property Management and Accounts departments, you will focus on building and maintaining market share in a competitive environment, without the paperwork and administration 'negatives' sometimes attributed to lettings.

You must be comfortable dealing with the sector in which we operate (middle to upper) and working with intelligent clients which include a substantial amount of London commuters.

Most of the day will be spent speaking to potential Landlords, current Land Lords and Tenants

We expect you to be fully conversant with acts appropriate to the lettings industry, including the Housing Act, Consumer Protection Regulations 2008 and Property Ombudsman Code of Conduct.

Applicants skillset

You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a busy lettings environment, with a proven track record of success in negotiating lettings contracts.

You will be looking to develop your career with a first class estate agency, be comfortable dealing with properties up to £5000 per calendar month and communicating with intelligent individuals, professional and corporate clients.

You will need to be able to work under pressure, whilst remaining organised, focused and accessible.
