Our well established precision engineering company has a vacancy for an experienced A&T Technician. With over 30 years experience in research and development of hydraulic servo valves, our client is a British manufacturing company supplying quality products.

Duties will include:

Carrying out the precision assembly of hydraulic servo valves
Stripping down and rebuilding servo valves returned for servicing.
Performing finishing operations such as wiring termination
wire locking and the application sealants.
Ensuring that all tooling is fit for purpose and in calibration.
Inspecting components to ensure that they perform to the highest of standards and the documenting of all work carried out.

Candidates will need:
Experience of working in a similar role ideally from within a safety critical environment.
Completion of Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent in an Industrial Environment
Understanding of basic hydraulic and electrical /electronic schematic drawings
Ability to perform strip examinations and write in depth failure reports
Ideally experienced within an assembly environment
Reasonable standard of secondary education

Hours 36.5 per week (8.30am - 4.30pm Mon to Thurs & 3.30pm finish Fri)
