Assystem are working with a niche automotive manufacturer and we are looking to speak to a number of Mechanics and Vehicle Technicians. Working within their highly experienced team, we are offering permanent opportunities, based in Surrey, where you will be predominantly responsible for contributing towards the launch and build of their new high-end vehicles.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding and following detailed work instructions relating to vehicle manufacture, thus ensuring that all operations are completed to the required quality standard.
* Identifying problems as they arise and offer effective solutions whilst feeding back information to the relevant engineering function.
* Identify and specify generic hand tool requirements for production build phases.
* Assemble vehicles on the production line during the relevant build phase.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
We are ideally looking for the following from the successful Vehicle Technicians:
* Practical experience within the automotive industry, preferably within the build, maintenance and service of vehicles.
* Quality focused, with a professional approach to work.
* A flexible attitude to working hours to support the demands of production, where overtime may be required.
* NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or similar is preferable, however not essential.
