The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef ready to join and help lead the kitchen team in this really vibrant location. The venue is a stunning independent very busy hotel restaurant servicing anything up to 300 covers per day. All of the menus centre on the very best produce from around the county, with regular changes that are created around the best seasonal pickings on offer. The venue has become famous for food, great service and stunning vistas. Serving food all day from 7.30 am from breakfast, simple bar snacks, afternoon tea, the great value, lunch menu, through to main menus.
You will be working a mixture of straights and splits 5 days from 7 but the hours are flexible.
What we need from you
You will be naturally friendly, with a professional approach to colleagues and customers.
Having experience working in a similar high-volume quality fresh food environment, you must be passionate about quality and have the skill and desire to develop your own skills and those of your team whilst working with fresh ingredients.
A driving licence would be beneficial due to the location.
