Our client is looking for proven Account Managers who can build strong relationships with customers, who also can spot sales and networking opportunities. You will need to identify, maximise and secure sales business opportunities through the successful growth and development of existing key business relationships and through proactive new business generation

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Professional and accurate management of customer accounts.
* To consistently provide a prominent level of customer service through the successful nurturing of internal relationships with those departments who depend on or who influence own work.
* Works closely and builds solid relationships with own and other teams.
* To continually review customer requirements and proactively introduce new products where applicable.
* To identify ways of maximising profitability to the company on the existing range of products supplied.
* Develops and demonstrates excellent product knowledge.
* To actively seek ways to identify and generate new business.
* The provision of accurate sales forecasting.
* Understands and accurately follows company policies and procedures relevant to the role.
* Production of a monthly report to Line Management.
* To manage own performance and attendance in accordance with Company processes.

* Job holder is a fundamental member of the Sales Team, with excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
* Has a proactive and innovative approach.
* Has the ability to meet tight deadlines and the flexibility to adapt to unexpected and sudden change.
* Reacts quickly to both opportunities and risks as they become apparent.
* Demonstrates excellent time keeping.
* Actively seeks to build profitable relationships with all prospective and existing customers.
* Takes responsibility to ensure commitments are met.
* Highlights additional customer requirements and proposes solutions.
* Behaves in a manner that ensures that the company is represented to customers and suppliers in an ethical manner at all times.

Required Skills:

* Proven experience in a sales or target driven environment or equivalent
* Proven success in generating new business and incremental margin generation
* Proven ability to create and build relationships with internal and external customers
* PC literate with good knowledge PowerPoint and Excel.
* Excellent team working skills

Price / Salary: £20000 - £23000/annum
